Asian Quinoa Meatballs

These are perfect to bring to a summer potluck with all your family and friends! Super healthy and delicious too!

(Prep time- 15 Minutes and Cook time- 20 minutes)meatballs

Cooks 20 meatballs


1 pound ground turkey or chicken (mince)

¾ cooked Quinoa

3 cloves garlic- minced

2 green onions- thinly sliced

1 large egg

1 TBSP Soy sauce

2 TBSP Sesame Oil

1 TSP Sriracha (Hot Sauce)

Sesame Seeds for Garnish


2 TBSP rice vinegar

1 TBSP grated ginger

1TBSP brown sugar

1 TSP Sesame Oil

1 TSP Sriracha (Hot Sauce)

2 TSP Corn-starch or Tapioca


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9×13 baking dish or coat with non-stick spray
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, quinoa, garlic, onions, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, Sriracha, salt and pepper.
  3. Using a wooden spoon or clean hands, stir until well combined.
  4. Roll mixture into 1 ¼ to 1 ½ inch meatballs, forming about 18-20 meatballs.
  5. Place them onto the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until all sides are browned and meatballs are cooked through
  6. To make the sauce, whisk together all ingredients with ½ cup of water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together corn-starch/tapioca and 1 TBSP of water. Stir into soy sauce mixture until it thickens.
  8. Serve immediately with Meatballs and garnished with green onion and sesame seeds
  9. You can also serve with rice if you prefer, ENJOY!
